Things I Didn't Know I Loved*

* If you are a dreamer, come in.
If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar,
A hope-er, a pray-er, a magic bean buyer...
If you're a pretender, come sit by my fire
For we have some flax-golden tales to spin.
Come in! Come in!

Nostalgia

Another haiku'd (high cooed?) thought - this time, on nostalgia. 97% guaranteed literal and non-metaphoric, HV, bromise!

I am gonna miss
Egyptian men if I leave.
I won't if I don't.

Comments:
Not only do you have serious issues if it was non-metaphoric, but the presence of the word "gonna" makes it twice as shallow.

man, has it come to me saing "lick me" on omeone else's behalf? :)

dna:
Yes, lick Shereen.
Why the abuse, koll dah 3ashan el italics?
'Gonna' = poetic license. "I will" is missing two syllables, "I am going to" has one too many, and "I'm going to" drags its feet too much - needed something snappier.

What is it bezabt
You will miss about them?
What is it you won't?

Actually
rigid Japanese haikus should not contain any metaphors ...
Only free-style haikus do .

I shall do no such thing.

Creative license does not involve bastardizing language :)

In any case, it's your license. And try not to take me too seriously. I wasn't even expecting anyone to reply.

Sounds Metaphorical to me!

how about "I'll surely miss"? ... or a variation on that..

Whimsical charmer
petite, tiny, wee,
For a heart so grand.

Are you dead ?

aside: i love the invite poem by silverstein "if you are a dreamer, come in".
